Send Wallet Passes from Form Responses

Looking to automate wallet pass distribution straight from your Google Form? In this quick guide, we’ll walk you through setting up a Zap that connects Google Forms, AddToWallet, and Gmail to streamline your entire workflow.

Step 1: Set Up Google Form Trigger in Zapier

  1. Head over to the Zapier Playground.
  2. Click “Create Zap” and choose Google Forms as the trigger app.
  3. In the Trigger Event, select “New Form Response”.
  4. Click Continue, then connect your Google account if needed.

  1. From the dropdown, select the Google Form you want to track.
  2. Click “Find new records” to fetch a records.

  4. In the dropdown, select the Pass ID that you want to use as a template.
  5. Click “Test Step” to load the fields from your selected pass.

Step 4: Create a Wallet Pass with Mapped Fields

  1. Add another AddToWallet step to your Zap.
  2. This time, select the “Create Wallet Pass” action.
  3. Connect your AddToWallet account (or reuse the connection if already linked).
  4. In the configuration screen, map fields from your Google Form response and your selected template.
  • For example, you can map the form response to the pass header.
  • Fields like hex background color, text fields, or QR codes can be customized using values from your form or template.

Step 5: Send the Wallet Pass via Gmail

  1. Add a new Gmail step to your Zap.
  2. Select the “Send Email” action.
  3. Connect your Gmail account if you haven’t already.
  4. In the “To” field, map the recipient’s email address from the Google Form response.
  5. In the Email Body, embed the pass link from the “Create Wallet Pass” step.
  6. (You’ll find this under the field labeled pass_url)
  7. Fill in other fields like Subject, From Name, etc., as needed.
